U&F Season 4 Now Underway!

 Release the bats! Underwood and Flinch Season Four is now underway in my podcast feed. There are currently ten episodes available, but a new episode goes live every Wednesday.

Season Four is the continuation of the novel Underwood and Flinch: Underground which continues the saga following on from U&F Season 2: Blood and Smoke. It was written and podcast at Patreon from 2015 to 2020 and owes its existence entirely to my patrons there, past and present. So let me just say a big hearty THANK YOU to them for being so awesome and for keeping the U&F Saga alive and well.

New U&F Website

U&F now has a new website under the UnderwoodAndFlinch.com domain. It's a static site, so nothing changes, but it has all the info that new listeners and readers need to get straight to the content they want.

This blog site remains the place to come for any news ... not that there ever is much, but still, this remains the place where it'll be whenever there is any - like the fact that there's a new website.

Damn! I've not posted anything here for ages. I tend to update the Facebook group, The Sect, as my primary info conduit, so if you're not a member of that group yet, do join, that way you won't miss any updates.

Join the Night Crossing launch on Twitter

Today I'll be Skyping into a Colorado Springs comic book store to appear at the release of the Night Crossing graphic novel organised by the book's illustrator and creator, Amanda Whipp.

The event will be available to view live on Twitter from store via Amanda's Twitter. Just follow @awhipp56 and join at 1pm Colorado time (MDT), 12pm in LA, 3pm in NY, 8pm in the UK, and 5am for any insomniacs in Sydney Australia.

Night Crossing - The Graphic Novel!

For some years now, I've been posting updates about the development of a graphic novel version of my short story, Night Crossing by the talented young artist Amanda Whipp. Well, I'm delighted to announce that the finished work is now available from Amazon worldwide.

When you look at the details in the penciling, you can certainly appreciate the amount of time and work that's gone into creating this fang-tastic inclusion into the printed world of Underwood and Flinch.

Mike Bennett to read Extracts from U&F at Wexworlds, Ireland

Every now and then, I like to appear. Usually at home, but sometimes in public. My last public reading of any of my work was 2003 in Brighton reading from the first edition of One Among the Sleepless. Since then, my readings have been restricted to podcasts only. But on Saturday 7th May, I shall be making my first live appearance as an author in thirteen years at the Wexworlds sci-fi / fantasy / horror festival at Clayton Whites Hotel in Wexford, Ireland. I'll be reading scenes from Underwood and Flinch, giving a talk on podcasting, and answering questions from the audience. 

I hope to be able to get a live stream of this event online so you can watch wherever you are, and hopefully send in any questions that you may have as well. I'm still exploring the technology options in how to make that happen (Facebook, Periscope, etc) but I'm optimistic we can pull it off somehow. Watch this space for more news, and if you can make it along on Saturday 7th May, I'll be on at 1:00 pm.
