U&F Season 4 Now Underway!

Release the bats! Underwood and Flinch Season Four is now underway in my podcast feed. There are currently ten episodes available, but a new episode goes live every Wednesday.

Season Four is the continuation of the novel Underwood and Flinch: Underground which continues the saga following on from U&F Season 2: Blood and SmokeIt was written and podcast at Patreon from 2015 to 2020 and owes its existence entirely to my patrons there, past and present. So let me just say a big hearty THANK YOU to them for being so awesome and for keeping the U&F Saga alive and well.

In case you're no longer subscribed to my podcast, here's a list of places where you can reconnect and start listening today. Bon Appetit!

New U&F Website

U&F now has a new website under the UnderwoodAndFlinch.com domain. It's a static site, so nothing changes, but it has all the info that new listeners and readers need to get straight to the content they want.

This blog site remains the place to come for any news ... not that there ever is much, but still, this remains the place where it'll be whenever there is any - like the fact that there's a new website.

Many thanks to Jason Andrews, who has been making my non-Blogger websites for over ten years. Hip-hip, Huzzah!!

U&F Spotify Soundtrack

I thought I'd make a Spotify playlist featuring the songs mentioned or used in the U&F podcast. These are the tracks I can remember, but I'm sure there are more. Maybe some of you who have listened to the podcast a few times can remember some others. If you can, I'd be grateful if you could drop me a line on one of my social media platforms. Many thanks :-)
Here's the playlist so far ...

U&F Underground Episode 42 / Dracula Episode 10

Two new podcasts out this week. In my public feed you can hear my reading of Bram Stoker's Dracula, Chapter 10. If you're not subscribed, you can do so by adding this link to your podcast app: http://mikebennett.libsyn.com/rss

Also, at Patreon, I've just posted Underwood and Flinch: Underground Episode 42.  I say! That's 42 episodes of UFU for just $3! That's the cheapest big audio book you'll see this month, I'm sure.

The beginning of the month is the best time to sign up to Patreon, as you can enjoy a whole month of listening for just $3. And if, at the end of the month, you decide you want to opt out and not pay for another month, you can! But why would you want to? U&F Underground is still in progress, and I guarantee you won't want to leave. Sign up today, and when you do, be sure and make a note of your personal RSS code and add it to your podcast app. That way you can get the podcasts streaming straight to your phone with no fuss.

Huzzah!!

Underwood in an Underwood

More Listener art work, and this time some canny photo work from Stephen Bolinger, who writes:
"I’ve often wondered about your surroundings while writing your awesome Underwood & Flinch novel(s). Along with that on how one would come up with the names of all the characters. While I my not be absolutely correct I think I might have stumbled onto how the main character might have gotten his name ..."

In case you haven't spotted it, that's an Underwood typewriter. Here's a closer look at the text in the machine ...

Great work, Stephen! Many thanks for sending me the pic and allowing me to share it with everyone.

Check out more of Stephen's photography on his Instagram page.
